Trainer Katie Senigaglia has been studying Pilates for eight years. She received her initial Pilates training from the Physicalmind Institute and then went to New York to train with Kelly Kane. Katie completed the Personal Trainer course work and certification at De Anza College and then was certified as a Personal Fitness Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine®.
Katie is a certified massage therapist and holds her Pilates certification with Pilates Method Alliance (PMA). She has taken specialty courses in Osteoporosis, Posture Assessment, Functional Training and Small Apparatus. Katie has completed her formal gait therapist practioner training with physical therapist Sherry Brourman, author of Walk Yourself Well, and is studying to complete her yoga training. Additionally, Katie is currently mentoring in a Scoliosis program with Suzanne Martin, PT Ph.D. She holds a B.A. in Anthropology and enjoys watercolor painting, hikes, and her family in her free time.
